Òganan Dhùn Eideann – Care for Children – Support for Parents

Mission Statement

Òganan Dhùn Èideann Ltd will provide high quality childcare and education in an environment that is safe and stimulating.  Our mission is to provide a place where Gaelic language learning takes place through play and learning.  Everyone is treated as an individual.  We aim to provide the best in childcare education through Gaelic – for our children, for life.

Our Promise to Parents

  • We will provide a fun environment, adhering to the highest standards of care and education, tailored to the individual interests and needs of your child.

Our Priorities

  • We will ensure the safety, happiness and education of your child are always our highest priority.

Our policies and procedures are central to providing the best possible care and education for our children, a high standard of service for all parents and to operate a successful wraparound service.  They have all been written in line with relevant legislation and regulatory framework.

The policies and procedures are intended to inform parents and support staff in the provision of this service.  Policies and procedures are covered in depth during staff and student inductions.

Òganan Dhùn Èideann will review policies on at least an annual basis and to share the review process with all involved within wraparound.  This demonstrates that as an organisation and as individuals we are working as reflective practitioners and researching legislation and laws.  There will be support and further advice from the University of Glasgow in terms of the Research and Knowledge Transfer Partnership.

We would welcome comments and suggestions from parents.

Copies of our Policies and Procedures are available from our manager and are displayed in our wraparound setting.  We hope you find them informative and helpful.
